Redwood National and State Parks
The Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP) are old-development mild rainforests in the United States, along the shore of northern California. Involving Redwood National Park (built up 1968) and California's Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks (dating from the 1920s), the consolidated RNSP contain 139,000 sections of land (560 km2). Found completely inside Del Norte and Humboldt Counties, the four parks, together, make sure 45% of all residual drift redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) old-development timberlands, totaling no less than 38,982 sections of land (157.75 km2). These trees are the tallest and a standout among the most huge tree species on Earth.
